KENYA
"OUT OF AFRICA"
The word “safari”, meaning “journey” in Swahili, originated in Kenya. This East African country offers a spectacular diversity of landscapes and exceptional wildlife. From the Masai Mara, where the Great Migration takes place every year, to Amboseli National Park, where elephants roam beneath Kilimanjaro, each region reveals its own unique wealth.
In the north, the Samburu reserve is home to rare species such as the reticulated giraffe and Grevy's zebra, while the vast plains of Laikipia offer exclusive safaris, with the chance to spot the rare black leopard. From the lakes of the Rift Valley to the verdant mountains of the Aberdares, Kenya is an unmissable destination for an immersion in the heart of wild Africa.

Why visit Kenya?
Few people who have been on safari in Kenya have come away disappointed.
A true paradise for wildlife photographers and nature lovers. All of Africa's iconic species can be found here, including the famous Big 5 and a large number of predators. Most of the scenes in the film Out of Africa were shot here, as were the images in The Lion King: inspired mainly by the Masai Mara.

When to visit Kenya?
Kenya is one of those countries where you can travel all year round according to your preferences. The high season from July to October offers wildebeest migration to the Masai Mara, but fares are higher. From November to December, the short rainy season can offer more affordable rates, although some areas may be difficult to access. The dry season, from January to March and June to October, is ideal for stable weather conditions and optimal wildlife viewing. The long rainy season from late March to May is less popular, but offers lush vegetation.
