"THE KINGDOM OF GREAT MIGRATIONS"
Cradle of the Great Migration and kingdom of the Big Five, Tanzania is one of the must-see destinations for a safari in East Africa. With more than 20 national parks, it is home to an abundance of unspoilt wildlife, evolving in spectacular landscapes.
From the mythical Serengeti to the majestic Ngorongoro Crater, each reserve offers a unique immersion in the heart of nature. Further south, the vast expanses of Selous and the forests of Ruaha reveal a wilder, more confidential Tanzania. And let's not forget the emblematic Kilimanjaro, which dominates this land where adventure is experienced at every moment.

Why visit Tanzania?
Tanzania is one of East Africa's most scenic safari destinations, with abundant wildlife and varied landscapes. Its greatest asset: the diversity of experiences on offer.
On land, explore the Serengeti in open 4x4 vehicles or set off on foot in the Ngorongoro and Selous to observe the wildlife from a different angle. In the wilder south, the Ruaha offers authentic immersion in the heart of the bush.
Take to the water on the Rufiji River or Lake Manyara to see crocodiles, hippos and a multitude of birds. From the great classics to safaris off the beaten track, Tanzania promises an unforgettable adventure.

When to visit Tanzania?
The best time to go on safari in Tanzania depends on your expectations in terms of climate and wildlife viewing. The dry season, from June to October, is ideal for optimum visibility and a high concentration of animals around waterholes, particularly in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. This is also the time of the great migration and the famous crossings of the Mara River on the border with Kenya in the north of the Serengeti. From November to May, the green season transforms the landscapes into a lush setting, perfect for observing migratory birds and the births of herbivores. From January to March, the plains of the southern Serengeti become the scene of wildebeest calving, an impressive spectacle with many scenes of lions, cheetahs and hyenas hunting the newborn calves. Each season in Tanzania offers a unique experience, depending on your wishes and your style of safari.
